Not so sure anymore

Ive had this game for quite a while, and was rather happy with it, until today.
I had previously upgraded my version of this game, and was rather far into the levels. I updated the app today and POOF! All my progress is gone and now, since they have a new upgrade, the company wants more money for me to unlock levels Ive already purchased.
If this company gets their act together and finds a way to maintain game progress throughout the update process, then this game is worth it.
Until then, Im fed up with this greedy bunch of moneygrubbers. Obviously this company is more interested in cashflow than customer satisfaction or product quality.
